Rayford Eugene Reed, aged 37, tragically passed away on October 6, 2019, in Kansas City, Missouri. His death was the result of a fatal shooting that occurred in the area of 29th and Askew. On the night of the incident, officers were called to investigate a crash involving a red pickup truck, which was later updated to a shooting investigation. Upon arrival, they were informed that a gunshot victim had been taken to Truman Medical Center, where Rayford Reed succumbed to his injuries.
