On June 4, 2023, at approximately 3:47 a.m., Springfield Police Department officers responded to a report of a shooting in the parking lot at 1336 W. Sunshine Street in Springfield, Missouri. Upon arrival, they discovered Adrian Gutierrez, a 24-year-old man from Sun Valley, California, suffering from a gunshot wound. Gutierrez was immediately transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
