On June 10, 2023, 48-year-old Christopher Gall of Maryland Heights, Missouri, was fatally shot during an attempted robbery in Berkeley, a suburb of St. Louis. The incident occurred around 2 p.m. at a BP gas station in the 4400 block of North Hanley Road. According to police reports, Gall was sitting outside the gas station when he was approached by two individuals.
