On June 15, 2023, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Kansas City police responded to a shooting incident in the 1300 block of East 89th Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered 42-year-old Ryan Bowman inside a vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
