Death by Force

On July 18, 2023, at approximately 3:30 a.m., St. Louis police responded to a shooting at the BP gas station located at 1104 Hampton Avenue in the Dogtown neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers found 22-year-old Iyaz Ahmed, an employee at the station, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Ahmed was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
