On the early morning of August 6, 2023, authorities in Springfield, Missouri, were alerted to a violent incident at a local business situated along the 300 block of North Kansas Expressway. At approximately 3:24 a.m., officers from the Springfield Police Department responded to reports of a shooting at the location, which sits near the intersection with Water Street. Upon their arrival, law enforcement officials discovered a chaotic scene where two individuals had sustained gunshot wounds.
