On August 10, 2023, St. Louis County police conducted a welfare check at a residence in the 200 block of Glandore Drive in West St. Louis County. Inside, they discovered the bodies of 61-year-old Paul Gyurkikiss, 64-year-old Mary Raab, and their daughter, 27-year-old Claire Gyurkikiss, all deceased from gunshot wounds. Investigators believe that Paul fatally shot Mary and Claire before taking his own life in a tragic double murder-suicide.
