In the quiet community of Grain Valley, Missouri, a tragedy unfolded in the parking lot of a local daycare, leaving a family shattered and onlookers horrified. On the evening of November 13, 2023, 33-year-old Shasta C. Gilmore, a female, was fatally shot by her husband in a devastating murder-suicide. The incident occurred shortly before 6 p.m. at the Milestone Academy as parents were arriving to pick up their children.
