On the final night of the year, as 2023 drew to a close, Terry E. Anthony’s life was tragically cut short in Kansas City, Missouri. The 45-year-old Black man was discovered on the ground at the intersection of 107th Street and Oakland Avenue in the southern part of the city. A passerby spotted him around 9 p.m. on New Year's Eve and alerted the authorities. When police arrived, they found Anthony with what appeared to be gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
