On February 29, 2024, 18-year-old Maurell Lamont Thomas tragically lost his life to gun violence in Ferguson, Missouri. His passing was commemorated with a visitation and funeral service held on March 16, 2024, at Granberry Mortuary in Jennings, Missouri.
