On the afternoon of February 29, 2024, a tragic sequence of events unfolded at a residence in Independence, Missouri, resulting in the loss of a devoted public servant. Drexel Mack, a 41-year-old Male originally from the Bahamas, was a civil process server for the Jackson County Circuit Court. He arrived at a home on North Elsea Smith Road to carry out an eviction notice against the resident, who had lost the property due to unpaid taxes.
