Charles J. "Chuck" Dunnington, a 30-year-old resident of Independence, Missouri, tragically lost his life on May 13, 2013. On that fateful day, police found Dunnington critically injured at a home in the 11300 block of East 11th Street in Independence. He had been shot in the head and was discovered lying on the ground in front of the house. Despite being rushed to a local hospital, Dunnington succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after.
