On April 22, 2024, at approximately 11:19 p.m., Kansas City police responded to a reported shooting at the Orangewood Inn & Suites, located in the 11800 block of Northwest Plaza Circle near Kansas City International Airport. Upon arrival, officers discovered two adult male victims inside the hotel, both suffering from gunshot wounds.
