On April 24, 2024, at approximately 10 p.m., 54-year-old Dan Eugene Pruitt Jr. was fatally shot in the 3200 block of North Taylor Avenue in the Greater Ville neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. Responding officers found him outside, behind a building; he was transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
