In the heart of summer, the life of 16-year-old Davondre Jarron 'DJ' Thompson-Baugher was tragically cut short. On the morning of June 21, 2024, Springfield police responded to a call about a shooting at a residence on East Linwood. Upon arrival, officers found the young man suffering from a gunshot wound.
