In the summer of 2023, the life of 19-year-old Keontae Tureaud was cut short in Springfield, Missouri. The young man, an employee at Walmart and a graduate of Parkview High School, was at a residence on West Madison Street on the evening of July 1st when he sustained a gunshot wound. Emergency services were called to the scene at 10:45 p.m., and Tureaud was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. He succumbed to his injuries two days later, on July 3, 2023.
