Louis Hobart Runnels, a 21-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, became the victim of a violent incident that unfolded on the night of Sunday, August 4, 2024. At approximately 10:45 p.m., local law enforcement officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Manchester Trafficway following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival at the scene, a security guard directed the responding officers to a vehicle where they discovered Runnels inside, suffering from critical gunshot wounds.
