In the early morning hours of August 24, 2024, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace outside a business in Kansas City, Missouri's Midtown neighborhood, leaving a devastating toll. Chester Brown III, a 35-year-old male, was killed in the shooting, which occurred just before 3:30 a.m. near the intersection of West 39th and Central streets.
