On September 18, 2024, at approximately 4:50 p.m., a shooting occurred in a vacant lot on the 5000 block of Kensington Avenue in St. Louis' Academy neighborhood. Among the victims was 21-year-old Qua’nell Robinson of Florissant, Missouri, who was transported to a hospital and pronounced deceased.
The incident resulted in multiple casualties: Taylor Richards, a 21-year-old woman from Florissant, also succumbed to her injuries, and William Person, a 31-year-old man from Alton, Illinois
