In the summer of 2017, on the 8th of June, a violent encounter in the 1400 block of Desoto in Saint Louis, Missouri, tragically ended the life of 35-year-old Gentrail Wafford. Wafford, a male, found himself in the midst of a robbery attempt. In an act of defense for another individual, Roderick Silinzy, Wafford drew his own weapon but was fatally shot in the ensuing exchange of gunfire.
