In the early evening of February 2, 2023, the life of 35-year-old Rasheed Lee, a male resident of Newark, New Jersey, was tragically cut short. Around 5:00 p.m., near the Pilgrim Village Housing Complex at 161 Avon Avenue, gunfire erupted following what witnesses described as an argument between two men. Responding to the scene, law enforcement found Lee suffering from a gunshot wound.
