On a late summer evening in Newark, New Jersey, the life of 39-year-old Walter Page was brought to a violent and abrupt end. It was Labor Day, September 7, 2015, when the sound of gunfire echoed through the area of Rowley Street. When police responded to the reports at approximately 11 p.m., they discovered a grim scene. Walter Page, a male resident of nearby East Orange, was found unresponsive, having sustained a gunshot wound.
