On March 26, 2023, at approximately 2:40 p.m., Camden County Police Department officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation in the 1400 block of Collings Road in Camden, New Jersey. Upon arrival, they discovered 21-year-old Camden resident Daijohn Spaulding at 3100 Alabama Road, suffering from a gunshot wound. Spaulding was transported to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 3:01 p.m.
