In the late afternoon of Sunday, March 26, 2023, the sound of gunfire pierced the air in Camden, New Jersey, leading to the untimely death of 21-year-old Daijohn Spaulding. A ShotSpotter activation drew Camden County Police Department officers to the 1400 block of Collings Road at approximately 2:40 p.m. Upon their arrival, the grim reality of the situation began to unfold as they discovered a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
