James E. Baker, a 64-year-old Caucasian male from Amelia, Ohio, tragically passed away on June 18, 2016. He was the owner of KayJay Gun Shop and was well-regarded in his community. Baker was fatally shot in the neck during a concealed carry class at his gun shop. The incident occurred when a student accidentally discharged a firearm while practicing weapon malfunction drills. Despite immediate efforts to resuscitate him, Baker was pronounced dead at the scene.
