In the early morning hours of Monday, May 15, 2023, a grim discovery was made in the city of Newark, New Jersey. The body of 33-year-old Anthony Damico, a male resident of Newark, was found in the 600 block of Frelinghuysen Avenue. Authorities were called to the scene, and upon their arrival, they found that Damico had sustained an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:17 a.m.
