In the summer evening of July 3, 2023, tragedy struck in East Orange, New Jersey, claiming the life of 18-year-old Nicholas Edwards. A recent graduate of East Orange Campus High School, Edwards was looking forward to a bright future with plans to attend William Paterson University. Just two weeks after celebrating his graduation, his life was cut short by an act of gun violence.
