On December 18, 2023, 18-year-old Angel Regalado-Guzman of Jersey City, New Jersey, was fatally shot. At approximately 2:20 p.m., he was brought to Jersey City Medical Center in a private vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Despite medical efforts, Regalado-Guzman was pronounced dead shortly before 4 p.m. The Regional Medical Examiner’s Office later confirmed the cause of death as a gunshot wound to the head, ruling it a homicide.
