On May 26, 2024, at approximately 2:10 a.m., Trenton police responded to reports of a large altercation outside the Regal 1 Bar on North Clinton Avenue. Upon arrival, officers encountered a chaotic scene with around 200 individuals engaged in a street fight. Shortly thereafter, multiple gunshots were heard, and the ShotSpotter system detected two separate shootings in the 500 block of North Clinton Avenue.
