On August 4, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred in the 1900 block of 13th Street Northwest, Washington, D.C., resulting in the death of 33-year-old Denzel Greenwood. The incident happened around 1:27 a.m. when Third District officers responded to reports of gunshots in the area.
