On September 6, 2024, at approximately 2:34 p.m., Camden County Police responded to a ShotSpotter activation indicating multiple gunshots in the 2500 block of South 8th Street in Camden, New Jersey. Upon arrival, officers discovered 21-year-old Camden resident Jajuan Flores suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to Cooper University Hospital, where, despite life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead 30 minutes later.
