In the afternoon hours of Friday, September 6, 2024, a burst of gunfire echoed through the 2500 block of South 8th Street in Camden, New Jersey. When the sound subsided, a young man lay wounded. First responders arrived at the scene, alerted by a ShotSpotter activation, to find 21-year-old Jajuan Flores suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
