On October 4, 2024, a tragic shooting occurred at the Ramada by Wyndham hotel on Two Bridges Road in Fairfield, New Jersey. The incident resulted in the death of 28-year-old hotel employee, Mohammad Sahariar, and left another employee critically injured. Both victims were on duty at the time of the attack, which took place shortly before 12:30 p.m.
