On December 27, 2023, at approximately 6:07 p.m., Camden County Police responded to a ShotSpotter activation on the 1400 block of Louis Street in Camden, New Jersey. Upon arrival, they discovered 35-year-old Pennsauken resident, Esterlin Torres, suffering from gunshot wounds. Torres was transported to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:39 p.m.
