In the early morning hours of a Sunday in Salem, New Jersey, the sound of multiple gunshots shattered the quiet on Thompson Street. When the violence ceased, 31-year-old Rahim Seals, a male resident of Salem, lay dead from the gunfire that erupted shortly before 12:30 a.m. on October 6, 2024. Another man was also wounded in the shooting, though the extent of his injuries was not publicly disclosed.
