On January 13, 2023, at approximately 3:30 a.m., Virginia Beach police responded to a reported shooting in the 1300 block of Stonecypher Court. Upon arrival, officers discovered 23-year-old Miekko Faxon with a gunshot wound to the chest; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
