On a Sunday evening in Chesapeake, Virginia, the life of 19-year-old Jerome Emuel Odom was tragically cut short. On February 5, 2023, in the South Norfolk area of the city, gunfire erupted around 6:51 p.m. near the intersection of Broad Street and Acorn Street. When police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a grim tableau. Jerome Emuel Odom, a young male, was found lying in the street, having succumbed to his injuries.
