Michael “Charles B” Roberts, a 66-year-old resident of Portsmouth, Virginia, was tragically killed on April 27, 2023, in a shooting incident. The shooting occurred in the 2200 block of Portsmouth Boulevard, where officers responding to the scene found Roberts suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite efforts, he succumbed to his injuries. Another man, aged 63, was also injured in the incident but survived. This violent act has left the community mourning and seeking answers.
