On a summer evening in Newport News, Virginia, a young man’s life was cut short in an act of violence that would later be tied to the workings of a notorious street gang. The male victim was identified as 19-year-old Rasheed Caudle of Yorktown. The incident unfolded on June 25, 2023, at approximately 9:10 p.m. in the 7700 block of Jarvis Place.
