On July 27, 2023, Josiah "Josh" Chambers, a 26-year-old man from Virginia Beach, Virginia, tragically lost his life in a shooting incident. The Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) received a report of a shooting at a residence on Lake Edward Drive just after 4 p.m. that day. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Chambers with gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
