In the winter of 2017, a visit to a friend's apartment in Phoenix, Arizona, ended in tragedy for Jacob Richard Branch. The 29-year-old man was fatally shot on the evening of Friday, January 27, 2017. The incident occurred at approximately 10:15 p.m. in the vicinity of North 7th Street and East Greenway Parkway.
