On Friday, January 27, 2017 at approximately 10:15 p.m., Jacob Branch was visiting a friend at an apartment in the area of North 7th Street and E Greenway Parkway in Phoenix. Upon leaving the apartment, the suspect approached Jacob and fatally shot him. The person of interest was in the area at the time of the incident and may have information that will be helpful to investigators.
