On the night of September 23, 2023, at approximately 11:38 p.m., Petersburg Police responded to reports of a vehicle crash near the intersection of North Boulevard and South Sycamore Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered 29-year-old Fatin Ibn Hassan Rhone inside the vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
