On February 17, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Roanoke, Virginia, resulting in the death of 27-year-old Uhura U. Willis. The Roanoke Police Department responded to reports of a shooting just before 5 a.m. on that day.
The incident took place on Patton Avenue in Roanoke. Upon arrival, law enforcement officers found Willis, who had sustained critical injuries from gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to save him, Willis succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
