On September 7, 2024, at approximately 12:41 a.m., Richmond Police responded to a reported shooting in the 1700 block of Broad Rock Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers discovered 26-year-old Walter Daniel Anariva Ramos lying on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
