Octavia Bethea, a 47-year-old woman from Darlington, South Carolina, tragically lost her life on February 9, 2023. She was shot and killed outside her home on King Edwards Avenue in Darlington. The incident was initially reported as a shooting, and upon investigation, authorities ruled her death a homicide.
