On February 10, 2023, a tragic shooting occurred at a residence on Ivy Woods Court in Fountain Inn, South Carolina, resulting in the deaths of 72-year-old Richard Ernest Smith and his 45-year-old son, Andrew Paul Smith. A third victim, a woman, sustained gunshot wounds and was transported to the hospital, where she was reported to be in stable condition.
