In the early morning hours of Wednesday, March 1, 2023, the life of Myra Littlejohn Davidson, a 47-year-old Black female from Gaffney, South Carolina, was tragically cut short in an act of violence that stunned the community. The incident unfolded in the parking lot of the Timken Co. plant, where Davidson was a long-time employee. As she arrived for her shift at approximately 7 a.m., she was confronted by her ex-boyfriend, 55-year-old Dock Theodore Hopper, who also worked at the facility.
