In the early evening of March 2, 2023, the life of 32-year-old Adan Obed Aguilar-Suarez was tragically cut short in a violent encounter. Charleston Police officers were dispatched to The Jaunt apartment complex located at 1840 Carriage Lane following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival at 7:31 p.m., they discovered Aguilar-Suarez suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency medical services and the Charleston County Coroner's Office were called to the scene, where he was pronounced deceased.
