In the late hours of a Friday night in Winnsboro, South Carolina, the life of Altrone T. Burrell, a 45-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short. On March 10, 2023, deputies from the Fairfield County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to his home on Reservoir Road around 11:30 p.m. following reports of gunfire. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Burrell deceased, having sustained what appeared to be a fatal gunshot wound.
