Walter James White Sr., a 72-year-old resident of Moncks Corner (Cordesville), South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. White was involved in a fatal shooting incident on Taurus Lane in Berkeley County.

According to the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office, White was suspected of initiating a shootout. The incident report identified him as the suspect in the shooting. Deputies responded to the scene around 6 p.m., where White was pronounced dead.
