On a late September evening in Dillon, South Carolina, the life of a promising young artist was tragically cut short. Amarione Michal Boatwright, an 18-year-old Black male known to many by his rap moniker 'SOB Nephew,' was fatally shot on September 29, 2023. The incident that claimed his life unfolded near West Main Street, where the sound of gunshots pierced the community's sense of peace.
