In the quiet community of St. Helena Island, South Carolina, a young life was abruptly cut short, leaving a family and community in mourning. Christopher Davon Bowen, an 18-year-old male, was found deceased on the evening of November 20, 2023, in a vehicle at the Forest Park Apartments in nearby Beaufort. The cause of his untimely death was determined to be a gunshot wound, and the case is being investigated by the Beaufort Police Department as a homicide.
